“An Ocean of Learning” is an interactive kindergarten adventure joining Bridgeport and Easton public schools.  It motivates students to become proficient learners in content while establishing positive and meaningful partnerships among diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic people.  These bonds of friendship will extend into the future.

Eighty-five kindergarten students from Bridgeport and Easton school districts meet during the academic year in small and large groups.  As the knowledge of the ocean grows so too will the wonders of friendship amongst our youngsters.  Students meet during field trips and internet correspondence.  Students visit the Discovery Museum in Bridgeport; the Norwalk Seaport Association, attend plays, and enjoy a visit from High Tech-High-Touch which will allow them to broaden their horizons beyond the classroom.
