Family Literacy Night
On May 6th, two hundred families attended our final family literacy night event. The students listened to the story of the Huga Tuga and the Magic Seashell. As the students listened to the story, they participated in a live performance of the text. At the conclusion of the performance, the students assisted Joe with creating their own illustrations of the story.
We would like to thank all of our family, friends, teachers, literacy coaches, community members, and district personnel who participated in this event.
